Small Businesses Support
We're here to help.
Whether you employ thousands of Hoosiers or just a few, Indiana is a state that works for small business. Indiana offers the coaching, networking, classes and support to help you expand your small business, create new jobs and meet your goals.
Today more than 500,000 small businesses across Indiana employ upwards of 1.2 million Hoosiers, and we want to help you make that number continue to grow.
Indiana Small Business Development Center
The Indiana Small Business Development Center (ISBDC) works to support the formation, growth and sustainability of small businesses in Indiana. With the help of the ISBDC, Hoosier entrepreneurs start stronger, grow faster, and work smarter.
The ISBDC is a collaborative partnership between the Small Business Administration (SBA), the IEDC and the 10 host institutions scattered across the state who support the ISBDC’s ten regional offices.

Indiana Procurement Technical Assistance Center
The Indiana Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) provides Indiana companies with information and counseling to help them apply for local, state and federal government contracts. With Indiana PTAC’s procurement technical assistance, Indiana small businesses can help gain contracts to grow their businesses and create more jobs for Hoosiers.
Indiana PTAC is a collaborative partnership between the federal Defense Logistics Agency and the IEDC.

Indiana Business Incubators
Indiana Business Incubators help new companies grow during the startup phase to reduce the risk of small business failures. Incubators may provide management assistance, marketing support, access to financing and technical support services. They may also offer shared office services, light industrial space, networking opportunities, access to equipment, flexible lease terms, and expandable space usually for two to three years.
