CleanSlate Technology Group Expands

CleanSlate Technology Group, a cloud consulting and software asset management company, today announced its plans to expand its operations in Hamilton County, creating up to 50 new jobs by 2020.

The company, which is one of the largest IBM resellers in the world, will invest more than $1 million to double its footprint at its current 4,000-square-foot headquarters, expanding to the second floor at 2071 Broughton St. in Carmel. With its growth, CleanSlate will occupy the first and second floors in the building. Renovations are expected to be complete at the beginning of 2018, allowing the company to accommodate the expansion of its IBM sales team and growth of its consulting practices in software asset management, cloud computing, integration, mobile development and IT security.

"Innovation is alive and well in Indiana. Today the Hoosier state is home to countless technology success stories like CleanSlate that are helping the state garner national recognition as a leader in innovation," said Secretary of Commerce Jim Schellinger. "Our talented pool of Hoosier workers paired with our low cost of living and pro-growth business climate make Indiana an ideal place to start a business, grow a business and get a job."

CleanSlate employs nearly 40 full-time employees at its Indiana headquarters. With its growth, the company is currently hiring consultants with knowledge in customer relationship management, cloud management, application program interface, mobile application development and developer operations. These new positions are expected to pay on average more than 60 percent higher than the state’s average wage.

“We believe Indiana and Indianapolis is an ideal place to grow our business," said Chris Konow, vice president of consulting services for CleanSlate Technology Group. "This region has a low cost of living, a great pool of qualified candidates from local universities and colleges, and a strong sense of community with employees choosing to grow with their companies and build careers. We have great access to a talented robust employee pipeline, and we believe CleanSlate can provide the career opportunities and work-life balance that employees are seeking.”

Founded in 2000 as a seller of IBM software, CleanSlate now offers services in cloud consulting, software asset management and mobile application development, partnering with companies like Salesforce, MuleSoft, IBM, CheckMarx, AWS and ServiceNow. The company, which was named one of Indiana’s best places to work this year, focuses on creating a great work environment and utilizing new technologies to serve CleanSlate’s customers located across the nation. The company's clients include KAR Auction Services, Geico, Wells Fargo, Honda, Citigroup, CNO Financial and Kroger. Additionally, the company chooses philanthropic organizations to support each year, contributing to Gleaners Food Bank and United Christmas Service in 2017.
