EVANSVILLE, Ind. (Feb. 26, 2026) – Indiana Governor Mike Braun announced that TaylorMade Golf Co. plans to expand its operations in Vanderburgh County, creating up to 50 new jobs by the end of 2031.
“TaylorMade’s expansion is welcomed news for our southwest Indiana community and for the state’s growing economy,” said Gov. Braun. “Here in the Crossroads of America, TaylorMade is uniquely positioned to serve its customers across North America quickly and efficiently. With this growth, hardworking Hoosiers will continue to play a central role in delivering quality products and will benefit from TaylorMade’s commitment to providing first-rate careers.”
TaylorMade, which moved its warehouse and distribution operations to Evansville in 2017, will make a multimillion-dollar investment to occupy and equip a new built-to-suit warehouse facility on 53 acres at 6700 Petersburg Rd. The new space will increase the company’s footprint in Vanderburgh County by enabling TaylorMade to move its current operations under one roof to support increased demand for its products across the U.S., Canada and Mexico. The company’s central location allows it to reach more than 80 percent of its customers within three days. The expansion in Indiana, which supports fulfillment for TaylorMade and its Sun Day Red premium performance apparel and footwear brand, will allow the company to ship millions of products annually. The company expects to begin moving into the new facility in early 2027 and begin hiring for new positions later that year.
“This project represents an exciting next chapter for TaylorMade Golf and Sun Day Red as we continue to invest in our people, our products, and our long-term growth. The new distribution center will significantly enhance our operational capabilities while creating meaningful opportunities within the Evansville community,” said Jessica Delgado, Associate Director of PMO Operations at TaylorMade Golf. “Indiana has been an incredible place to live and work, and its strong workforce, collaborative spirit, and commitment to growth make it the ideal location for this expansion. TaylorMade is incredibly proud to help bring this vision to life and to further strengthen its ties within Southern Indiana.”
Founded in 1979 and headquartered in Carlsbad, California, TaylorMade manufactures high-performance golf equipment—including clubs, golf balls, accessories, and apparel—and is an industry leader in equipment customization and personalization. Sun Day Red is a golf-inspired performance lifestyle brand created in partnership with 15-time major championship winner Tiger Woods, that offers a full range of premium apparel and footwear. TaylorMade's history of innovation includes groundbreaking products like Qi4D Drivers, TP5/TP5x Golf Balls, and P·Series irons. Its extensive portfolio of athletes includes Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, Nelly Korda, Brooke Henderson, Collin Morikawa, Tommy Fleetwood, Charley Hull, and Maria Fassi, among others. “TaylorMade’s decision to expand in Vanderburgh County is a strong vote of confidence in our community and our workforce," said Justin Elpers, President of the Vanderburgh County Board of Commissioners. "This project reflects a long-term partnership and our commitment as Commissioners to support employers that create good jobs here. We’re proud to stand with TaylorMade as they grow their footprint and invest in Vanderburgh County’s future.” Based on the company’s investment plans, the Indiana Economic Development Corporation committed an investment in TaylorMade of up to $555,000 in the form of incentive-based tax credits. These incentives are performance-based, meaning the company is eligible to claim state benefits once investments are made and jobs are created. Vanderburgh County will offer additional incentives to support the project.
